COURSE OBJECTIVES
The general objective is to improve the skills of colleagues on the use of a variety of Web 2.0 applications for information retrieval, collaboration, generation of content, information sharing and effective and cost-efficient communication. The aim of this action plan is to improve networking and the management of millennium development goals activities among the stakeholders at state, national and international settings.
Outcomes
At the end of the exercise, trainees will be able to:
Identify and explore currently available Web 2.0 tools;
Create alerts to obtain desired information from all the Millennium Development Project sites;
Publish relevant story on MDGs;
Utilise VOIP tools on the Internet to communicate with colleagues’ i.e skype and nonoh
Utilise online tools effectively to manage quarterly and monthly report.
Utilise professional social networking (LinkedIn)
METHODOLOGY
The training sessions will be practical with the use of laptops and available desktop computers
