I hereby gratefully and thankfully express my deep appreciation to CTA for granting me the special opportunity to participate in the CTA Regional Web 2.0 Workshop hosted by my University of Ibadan between 4th and 8th October 2010, for which I gladly stepped down my initial plan to attend and present a paper at the 47th Annual Congress of my professional association-the Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association- holding same period in Makurdi, central Nigeria; and for which I will be missing my university local conference grant for not attending; in favor of participating in the Ibadan web 2.0 tools regional workshop. It was a great favor as I had earlier missed out on the online application.
Although I knew and had been exposed to virtually all the Web 2.0 Tools, and have possession of the PLA 59 Book and pdf summary, which I have been using ,my knowledge base has been increased by at least 75% of what was taught by John Opigo (and his Ghanian colleague).
You have motivated and set me up on my next line of professional specialization of Participatory Veterinary Epidemiology, beginning for my Departmental colleagues, postgraduate and undergraduate students.
God bless CTA!.
